JKD power punching and mixed martial arts knuckle placment

Heres a very nice example of the light snapping shockwave on the end of a punch from JKD hes landing with the outside three knuckles,just like a boxer in boxing gloves and any UFC fighter

These are what I call an unsupported punch a bit like swinging a hammer,but the forearm isnt directly behind it,it breaks the kinetic chain at the end losing 40% of the power you could have when you line the punch up kinetically

 for the kinetic punch you should be landing here 

the beauty of modern slow motion is you can see what I mean in some clips,like here not a kineitc punch in sight
